Speed gates and turnstiles we look after
We maintain speed gates, swing gates, tripod turnstiles and full-height turnstiles of the brands commonly installed in Saudi buildings — such as Boon Edam, Gunnebo, Automatic Systems and dormakaba. We also check the link to your access-control system, whichever platform it runs on, so gate faults and reader faults are diagnosed together.
Keeping entrances secure in heat and dust
Fine dust settles on detection beams and inside drive cabinets, which is a common cause of false alarms and slow barriers in Saudi lobbies. Regular cleaning and adjustment keeps detection reliable, and servicing is planned outside arrival peaks — early morning, evenings or weekends — so staff and visitors are not held up.
Sectors we serve
We serve clients all over Saudi Arabia — mainly Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam — from our head office in Riyadh.
Frequently asked questions
Can you fix speed gates that are already faulty?
Yes. We diagnose and repair existing faults, then put the gates on a preventive schedule so the problem doesn't come back.
Do speed gates open automatically in a fire?
They should. Speed gates are normally connected to the fire alarm system so that all lanes open for free exit when an alarm is triggered. We test this interface as part of preventive maintenance.
Why does a gate alarm even when a valid card is used?
Usually because detection sensors are dirty, misaligned or set too sensitive, or because the user enters before the barrier has fully opened. Cleaning, adjustment and checking the controller settings normally resolves it.
How often should speed gates be serviced?
Most manufacturers recommend preventive maintenance at least two to four times a year, depending on traffic. High-traffic entrances benefit from more frequent visits.
Do you offer an annual maintenance contract (AMC) for Speed Gate Maintenance?
Yes. Speed Gate Maintenance can be covered under a Star House AMC on its own or together with your other building systems in one single contract.
